A Look Back at 2012

A Look Back at 2012

2012 was a great year for my blog!  I gained a lot of great new readers, got to have some awesome giveaways and wrote a lot of posts that apparently a lot of your liked!

I started posting more crafts and activities for kids this past year.  My top viewed post this year was my “Beary” Special (non-candy) Valentine treat idea!

Be sure to check out these other great Valentine craft posts also:

And another craft was in my top five most visited posts – Kid’s Frugal Fun Paper Towel Roll Airplane

I did a few posts on What $5 Can Get – Couponer vs. Non-Couponer.  My second post in that series was my second most visited post in 2012!  See it here.

Also, check out the other posts in that series:

I also gained a lot of Fred’s shoppers as readers this year!  My fourth most visited post was about the new SmartBucks/SmartCard program Fred’s started early in 2012!

Here are some fun facts about my blog traffic in 2012:

About 55,000 tourists visit Liechtenstein every year. This blog was viewed about 170,000 times in 2012. If it were Liechtenstein, it would take about 3 years for that many people to see it. Your blog had more visits than a small country in Europe!

In 2012, there were 4,907 new posts (that’s an average of 13-14 posts a day), growing the total archive of this blog to 7,253 posts.

The busiest day of the year was February 18th with 2,063 views.  (That day is my wedding anniversary.  A ton of people visited to read this post about my anniversary.  How funny!)

I got to do a lot of reviews this year.  Here’s some of my favorite products (and places and events!) I got to review this year!

And on a personal note, I lost 33 pounds in 2012!

Thanks for being a reader!  I can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store!
