Wal-Mart’s Customer Service

I told you I’d follow up my correspondence to my local Wal-Mart’s manager about my frugal-yet-not-so-pleasant-trip to Wal-Mart.

If you saw what was in my mailbox on Wednesday, you saw the $25 gift card that the manager sent me because of my bad experience.

It pays to (nicely) express your complaints about bad service.

I got us a free truck rental from Lowe’s once when we had to wait 45 minutes for the truck we rented to become available.  Apparently, they only had one working truck and they had to take it across town to get the tires aired up (even though there was a gas station across the street that they could’ve taken it to to get the tires aired up).  Forty-five minutes was a ridiculous amount of time to have to wait on a truck we rented to take our purchases home.
