Wednesday, January 22, 2020, is National Hot Sauce Day. Not really a day I’m going to celebrate. But some like it hot! So in honor of National Hot Sauce Day, here’s what I found:

- It appears that some popular hot sauce brands are made in Belize. So, The Belize Tourism Board is partnering with two Belize-based hot sauce brands — Marie Sharp’s and Hot Mama’s — to celebrate National Hot Sauce Day. You could win an incredible vacation for you and guest. The winner will spend five days and four nights in Belize City, Belize, one of the world’s largest producers of habanero peppers.
You can enter by purchasing a bottle of Marie Sharp’s from mariesharpsusa.com or Hot Mama’s from saucesscentsandsweets.com, anytime through Friday, Jan. 24 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Then, email a copy of the receipt to hotsaucebelize@gmail.com. To enter without making a purchase send an email to hotsaucebelize@gmail.com explaining why you deserve a hot sauce-related vacation.
