Give Thanks to the Lord – Psalm 100 Free Printables for the Thanksgiving Season

Psalm 100 free printables

It is the month of Thanksgiving!  It’s the month of focusing on your blessings.   Which we should all the time, but this month helps us get back on track if we have forgotten.  I’ve got a couple Psalm 100 free printables at the end of this post as a Thanksgiving gift from me to you!

But first, I want to take a moment to tell you why I’m so thankful you are here!

At church for the last few weeks the sermons have been on thankfulness and giving – giving to God our firsts not our leftovers.

Now, some people get a little indignant when churches start talking about money.  But there is a lot to be said about being good stewards of our money.  And when you realize that your blessings, including the financial ones, come from God, spending wisely takes a higher priority.

This blog was born from a time in my life when I was struggling to make the paychecks stretch from week to week.

Saving Toward A Better Life was more than a blog name.  It was a mission and a motto.

And top on the list of things that would make my life better was having money to give and then enough left to live on.

This blog has been a blessing to my life for over nine years now…NINE!  I learned how to coupon, smart shop and save money and used the blog to keep my on track.  And that turned into teaching others what I learned.  And now this blog is my full time job.  Yes!  I went from working full time outside the home and through gradual transitions to being able to work full time from home.  I am thankful for the opportunities I’ve been afforded through this process of learning how to blog.

YOU guys reading this right now have been a blessing to me.  Because let’s face it, a blog with no readers is nothing.  So I am thankful for you.

If you’ve only just stumbled here just now, that’s ok, I’m thankful you are here!

So in this season of thanksgiving, I’m going to leave you with a scripture we’ve been reading at the beginning of all our church services.  It’s appropriate for the season.

 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.

Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Psalm 100

Both of the graphics on this page are available in printable PDF form if you want to print them and post them somewhere where you can be reminded of the scripture.  See below.
