Amazon advertised a $30 off $150 purchase coupon code for Amazon Rewards Visa Cardholders to use on Amazon Prime Day (July 12th). The coupon code had a limited number of uses which I (and apparently many others) were not aware of. I tried to use the code and it would not work. I was disappointed! I ended up abandoning the items in my cart because I could not get the $30 off.
I was so excited to open my email yesterday to see an email titled “Your $30 Amazon Rewards Visa Card Prime Day Offer”. The email read:
Dear Valued Prime Member,
In connection with Prime Day, we ran a limited offer of $30 off a purchase of $150 or more with the Amazon Rewards Visa Card on Amazon.com. We see that you entered the promotion code VISA30 after the offer had already expired. Because you are a valued Prime Member, we have loaded a $30 Amazon.com Gift Card to your account.
WOOHOO! I just got a $30 gift card for Christmas shopping!
Check your email to see if you go the email too.
