Did you know that June is National Adopt a Shelter Cat month? Our sweet Xander was a shelter cat. We adopted him in October 2005 and he was with us until June 2014. I don’t know what his life was like before he got to that shelter, but he had a good, long life with us. Our sweet Lady, that we got last November, wasn’t a shelter pet. But she was abandoned and could’ve ended up in the shelter or worse.
See? Isn’t she a pretty lady? This is her favorite observation spot. Under a chair in the dining room. Always the same chair. Must be a good vantage point. She has been such a wonderful addition to our family that we didn’t know we needed.

When one of my cats is hungry, he stands up on his hind feet and paws at the dishwasher. This can go on for 5 min. or so. Maybe because it’s glossy and smooth? Who knows.
We adopted our cat as a senior rescue cat from a local shelter and he has a great personality.
Three of my favorite things! I love Vera Bradley, especially the Disney ones, and anything with a cat has to be good! I also love lightweight cat litter (and my kitties do, too!). Thirdly, I love Saving Toward a Better Life’s tips and guidance!
I left my cat to be taken care of by my nephew and niece one weekend. My cat has the habit of playing during the night. So my nephew locked my cat in his room and slept in my niece’s room because my cat wouldn’t leave him to sleep lol
I have two adorable tabby cats adopted from our local pet shelter.
I have a sweet mane coon cat named Sugar. She is like a typical cat that likes to bring us special treats like birds.
I rescue cats. Right now we have 10. Their favorite thing is we have a box that we placed a shirt over so both ends are open. They love laying in it and when you walk by they grab us.
I love how clever my cat is (even if it gets him in trouble sometimes).
My cat is so funny because he loves to play chase with the two little doggies we have!
