Easy Key Lime Pie
This has been my go-to recipe over the holidays this year! I’ve made it 4 times already and will be making one more before Christmas is over.
It is so incredibly easy! Three ingredients in a pie crust…done.
Ingredients:
- 1 box lime Jell-O (3 oz)
— I normally don’t mind generic brand BUT for Lime gelatin, pay the extra $.50 to get Jell-O brand. I’m not convinced the generic is as good in this case. - 2 Key Lime Pie Yogurt cups (6 oz)
- 1 container Cool Whip (8 oz) THAWED
- 1 graham cracker pie crust
-Dissolve lime gelatin in 2/3 cup boiling water in a large mixing bowl
-Add both containers of yogurt. Mix well.
-Add (thawed) cool whip. Stir until well blended.
-Pour in pie crust and chill for 1-2 hours.
Serve and enjoy!
Don’t you have to cool the jello before you add the yogurt ?
No. You want to mix everything before the Jello sets.
Chill in fridge or freezer?
Fridge.
Wow this is the best key lime pie recipe. I did add 1/3 cup of lime juice a the zest of one lemon.
