The Trussville Food World store is going out of business. I was in there today.
Meats, refrigerated items and frozen foods are 10-20% off.
Spices are 40% off.
Greeting cards, gift bags, wraps etc are 75% off!! (I picked some greeting cards for 25-50c!)
Beer and wine is 15% off.
Everything else (canned goods, dry goods, general merchandise, books, paper products, pet products, baby food, diapers, etc) are 20% off.
They are NOT accepting coupons anymore. :(((
I picked up some store brand (Best Yet) canned goods at a good price. (Refried Beans for 62c). I got some greeting cards and gift bags for a GREAT price! I also got some cake decorating stuff for 20% off. (Needed for the birthday party next weekend!)
Other than that, I didn’t see anything that was a great deal since the 20% off is off the normal (high) price. Even the 20% off diapers wasn’t a good deal since a jumbo pack of Huggies is over $11 regularly.
I was told that discounts will increase every Wednesday – on 10/20 the discounts should be 30-50%. As the discounts increase, the selection will dwindle but if you’re vigilant, you might be able to snag a good deal or two!
