I think being frugal is totally the "in" thing right now. I mean, look at our economy! If corporate American (i.e. car manufacturers, financial institutions) handled THEIR money and the federal government managed OUR money as well as us couponing moms do, I doubt we'd be in the mess we're in now!
P.S. My P&G "year of savings" booklet came in the mail this week; as did our Dora potty seat which "we" enjoy wearing as a hat for now. :)
