in Birmingham Alabama deals,Emergency Preparedness, sales tax holiday

Here’s some useful information I discovered!  Several states (including mine!) will be having hurricane/disaster preparedness sales tax holidays.

Alabama disaster preparedness sales tax holiday July 6th – 8th, 2012

This is a first for Alabama and cities and counties have until June 22nd to confirm that they are participating.  Keep checking this list to find out if your area is participating.

Here is a list of what’s exempt.

According to this list, Louisiana and Virginia will be having them too.  Louisiana – May 26-27 and Virginia May 25-31.

Thanks Birmingham Bargain Mom and A Frugal Chick!
