The 2025 Georgia Renaissance Festival | Enter to win Tickets!

The Georgia Renaissance Festival is a 16th century England Renaissance Festival and it’s BACK for the 2025 season!  And I have tickets to give away (giveaway form at the bottom of the post)

The Festival will run every weekend April 12th thru June 1st, 2025, Saturdays and Sundays 10:30am to 6pm and Memorial Day Monday – rain or shine!

The 40th Annual Georgia Renaissance Festival is a different kind of theme park. Inside this 32-acre recreation of a 16th Century English Village you’ll find hundreds of costumed characters, the Queen and her Court, endless circus-style entertainment on over 10 stages, shopping in over 130 artisan shoppes, food fit for Royalty, games and rides for kids of all ages, and the spectacular Jousting Knights on horseback. Patrons are invited to wear costumes and join in the fun too. It’s a whole lotta fun, and a little bit of History, every weekend April 14th – June 1st, rain or shine!  Parking is always free!

Doc Dixon will magic and comedy to the Fool’s Knoll Stage every day of the festival.
Hanlon-Lees Action Theater will be performing in the Joust arena three times every festival day!
NEW stages and buildings throughout the grounds!

Can you dress up for the festival?  YES!  We’ve done it in costume and not in costume.  Just know that regardless, you need to dress for COMFORT.  (This is addressed in my post on important tips before you go.)  Dressing up is FUN but things to consider are: outside, walking, weather, and bathroom facilities.  There are portable bathroom trailers for most of the women’s restrooms (the ones outside the entrance and the ones in the very back) but G has informed me that at ALL three Men’s restroom locations are still all Port-A-Potties.  The women’s restrooms next to the food stands are Port-A-Potties also – so go before you go in and then try to make it all the way to the back before you go again!)

The acts and entertainment can vary from year to year, but we’re excited that our regular favorites, Barely Balanced and Cast in Bronze will be at this year’s festival.  As well as our NEW favorite from last year, Rota Temporis.  If you happen to be there on Highland Weekend, you’ll LOVE The John Mohr Mackintosh Pipe and Drum Band.   You can check out this year’s entertainment on the Georgia Renaissance Festival website.
