I’m working my way through trying all the meal delivery services. So far I have tried Gobble, Hello Fresh and Every Plate. Please by wary of Every Plate, I cannot recommend them.

Dinnerly Meal Subscription Review | Definitely the most kid-friendly so far!
One thing I noticed about Dinnerly – and I think this is a strong point in their favor – is that they are the most kid-friendly of the ones we have tried so far.
They had a wider variety of types of recipes. There were breakfast meals and desserts to choose from. And I was appreciative of the variety AND the fairness of the pricing.
If you’ve looked at any of these services, you’ve probably realized is that you’re paying for a certain number of meal credits each month. One set price per meal and then you choose the recipes that you want. All the meal services have “premium” options that cost you more – the price per meal PLUS another $5.99-$9.99.
Dinnerly has been the only one I’ve seen that had recipes that actually deducted money each month. Want to add that Strawberry Muffin recipe to your box? Or those vegetarian lunch wraps? Well, that will deduct $1 per serving because those recipes are not on the same level as the regular recipes that your monthly credits cover. I hardly ever chose vegetarian recipes from the other boxes because I felt like I was getting cheated. I paid the same amount no matter if I got meat in my recipes or not.
But back to the kid-friendly -G’s favorites from Dinnerly were the Mac & Cheese, Toasted Ravioli, and Denver Omelette Cups. We never came across anything like those in the other meal kits. Dinnerly seemed to specialize in slightly more casual eating than the other companies.
And we both really liked the Pineapple Jerk Chicken.
One thing you’ll figure out really quick trying all these different services is that they’re all the exact same business model. And a lot of them source their ingredients from the same places – I recognized packaging across difference services.
But, Dinnerly has definitely proven, while still being very similar, to also have it’s own unique features. And I stand by it having the most kid-friendly options.
And they had much better customer service than Every Plate.
