FREE Museum Day is not happening in 2023.
I woke up to my Facebook memories reminding that this day last year was Free Museum Day and I panicked because I hadn’t seen anything about it this year and I was afraid we might have missed it.
Well, as it turns out, it’s NOT happening this year.
Per the Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day Website:
Thank you for your interest in Museum Day. We have made the difficult decision to pause Museum Day for 2023.
Please check back for information about 2024.
We are disappointed! I do hope it comes back next year!
