Teacher Appreciation Week is traditionally the first FULL week in May, Teacher Appreciation DAY is the Tuesday of that week. Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023. Although, this year, it seems that more teacher appreciation things are happening the week of May 8th but some are happening earlier. So, I’ve compiled a list of the deals I could find and tried to include complete start and end dates. If you are a teacher you’re going to want to go through this list!

From May 9 to 16, every teacher, faculty or staff at K-12 or degree-granting university in America is eligible for a FREE cheeseburger with purchase. To get the offer, educators need to enroll in the Sonic Teachers’ Circle, an awards program exclusively available for educators.

The week of May 8th-12th, from 5 A.M. to 9 A.M., teachers can enjoy a free breakfast entrée from Whataburger! Choices include Taquito with cheese, Breakfast on a Bun, or Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit.

Also, during Teacher Appreciation Week, Barnes & Noble Cafés across the country will give teachers a free tall cup of hot or iced coffee or tea when they show their valid teacher’s ID. (May 8th – 12th)
Costco

Dollar General
Dollar General is giving teachers 5% off for the month of May. To get this discount through May 31, teachers need to sign in or create a Dollar General account and verify their teacher credentials. Then they’ll need to add the “exclusive teacher-only DG digital coupon” through the retailer’s app.
The coupon will appear 24 to 48 hours after verification and to redeem teachers can enter their phone number at checkout.
