Everywhere Holy is not a book packed with Scripture, nor is it meant to be a devotional, but it is a book about finding God. It’s a book of encouragement, like that gentle friend that always has the right words when we are out our lowest point. No where does it recommend forgetting about Bible study and prayer but it does remind you that God is everywhere – not just in our little corner when we’re having Bible study and prayer. When we start to see God in everything is when all the pieces – Scripture study, worship, prayer – come together. If you feel stagnant or “going through the motions”, Everywhere Holy can help open your eyes to things you couldn’t see before. The first chapter talks about fog. And when you’re under the fog it’s all you can see. This book exists to life the fog so you can see what’s ahead of you and all around you.
