Hit Christmas Gifts in Our House

What did your kids enjoy the most for Christmas?

I was greatly surprised that one of G’s top favorite (and the one he can’t get over showing and telling everyone about) is a simple pocketknife.  At 11 years old, I felt like this was a timely gift.  (He can cook and hammer things together with minimal supervision, so why not?)

This is what he asked for.  It’s the Hot Wheels Corkscrew Crash Track Set.

Honestly, I don’t get the appeal of it, they just get shot around and around the track.  But this kid loves Hot Wheels.  And he is loving this track set.

Another gift we’re all enjoying is Monopoly Cheater’s Edition.

It’s a fun twist on the classic game and the gameplay is much quicker than traditional Monopoly.  I can get behind that!

LEGO sets are always a hit Christmas gift.  For the kid that needs a little more challenge when it comes to assembling LEGO sets, they’re LEGO Technic – and the LEGO Technic Rescue Helicopter was a hit this year!

Finally, one stocking stuffer made the hit list.  It’s the brain-boosting puzzle game, Kanoodle Extreme.

G and I are both having fun with this one!

So what gifts were hits in your house?

I purchased all these gifts with Amazon gift cards I earned for FREE throughout the year!  Click here to read how you can do it too!
