It’s no secret that I LOVE Walmart Grocery Pick Up for it’s convenience and time-saving!
But maybe you’re wary about it at first. I mean, under most circumstances, you do have to plan a day or more in advance to pick up your order. What if something comes up and you’re late? Or if you can’t make it at all?
No worries! Walmart has that handled in your best interest!
What happens if I can’t pick up my Walmart Grocery Order?
If you’re just running a little late…
If your pick up time is 3pm but you’ve been delayed and won’t make it until 4:30 – that’s ok! Just arrive when you can! If it’s the same day, just arrive when you can and check in as normal. Your groceries are kept in a cooler/freezer after your order is shopped so they are doing just fine. You may receive a call from the Walmart Grocery team asking if you will be arriving that day but generally as long as you arrive before pick up ends for the day (7pm) you’ll be fine. If you want to give them a heads up, you can call customer care at 1-800-924-9206 to let them know.
If you can’t make it at all that day…
If you miss your delivery, your items will be returned to the store. You can call customer care at 1-800-924-9206 and schedule to pick up your order in-store or re-schedule delivery of your order (if available). Or you can go online and cancel the order completely and set another day to pick up. There is a “reorder all items” feature that will make it quick and easy!
I like to purchase store brand items, things I don’t have coupons on and items I know Walmart has a good price on. So even without “coupons” I feel like I still did a good job saving! Plus, with $10 off your first order – that’s just $10 in FREE groceries!
It’s worth it for everyone to try it once with the $10 off your first order – because that’s a savings of $10!! Not to mention the money you save from not going into the store and getting things you don’t need while you’re in there. ;)
