While I was at Walmart getting my phone I also picked up popcorn, M&M’s, cookie mix and frosting. And it was must cheaper than concessions at the movie theater!
I think it’s easy to see what movie we used our movie credit on! My little Captain America got to watch Captain America: The First Avenger for the first time! But not before we made cookies decorated with red and blue sprinkles and M&Ms. We popped popcorn and added red and blue M&Ms.
As far as decorations, we used Avengers plates and napkins leftover from last year’s birthday party. I set out an Avengers picture that was already in Bug’s room and some patriotic tinsel I already had. Simple and no cost to me but it made the movie night so much more fun to be a little festive!
We colored Captain America coloring sheets. And then it was time to settle in with our snacks and watch our movie!
There is the VUDU app right on my phone. But of course, that doesn’t mean we had to watch the movie on the phone. Oh no! The VUDU app works with Smart TV, ROKU(R), Chromecast(R), VUDU Spark(TM), and other compatible devices.
When I signed up for a VUDU account, it picked up right away that there was already a Chromecast connected to one of our TVs. Easy Peasy!
