I too had the same problem.
I called walmart on phone; spoke to walmart’s credit card department.
I was told twice that they issue it in 1-2 billing cycles.
Then I asked to get in contact with credit rep’s manager.
After mentioning policies are violated, I got a response saying a credit will be issued in 24-48 hours.

Here’s the catch! I opened the card, made my purchase two days later and was told that I do not qualify for the promotion because I did not make the purchase on the same day that I opened the card.
