This list will grow as we get closer to Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2015, but as of now, this is the info that I have.

As with anything, these deals are subject to participation.  All locations should be participating but you could run up on one that is not.  Calling ahead is recommended.

Restaurants:

Applebees Free Meal
On Wednesday, November 11th, veterans and active duty military can choose from a free signature Thank You Meal menu that includes some of Applebee’s favorite items. See the menu here. Must present valid Veteran’s form of identification or be in uniform.

California Pizza Kitchen
On November 11th, choose a pizza, full size salad, or pasta from the special Veterans Day Menu. Dine-in only. Please come in uniform or bring your military I.D. or other proof of service.

Chili’s
Free meal from the special Veterans Day Menu.  Beverage and Gratuity not included.  Please bring ID.

Cracker Barrel
On Veterans Day, all military veterans receive a complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake at Cracker Barrel!  Also, on Veterans Day, 10% of the sales price of all purchases of our Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake will be donated to the USO Transition 360 Alliance.  I think that’s a great reason to eat cake!

Golden Corral
Wednesday, November 11th from 5-9pm is Military Appreciation Night. The 15th annual Golden Corral Military Appreciation dinner will is available to any person who has ever served in the United States Military. If you are a veteran, retired, currently serving, in the National Guard or Reserves, you are invited to participate in Golden Corral’s Military Appreciation dinner

IHOP
On 11/11, all Veterans and active duty military will receive one free stack of Red, White & Blue Pancakes (3 pancakes) from 7am-7pm. Offer only valid for Veterans and Active Duty Military. Available at participating restaurants only. Military ID or proof of service is required. Some restrictions apply; see restaurant for details.

Logan’s Roadhouse
FREE Desert for Veterans on Veterans Day.  You can click here to send this offer to a Veteran.

Long John Silver’s
FREE 2-piece fish basket at participating locations. Please make sure you call your local Long John Silver’s before you head over to make sure your restaurant is participating.

McCormack & Schmick’s
Sunday, November 8th, Veterans will be able to choose a complimentary lunch or dinner entrée from a special menu. Veterans must provide proof of military service. Be sure to contact your local McCormick & Schmick’s as this is valid at participating restaurants only. Also, space is limited and reservations are highly recommended.

Olive Garden
All veterans and active duty military are invited to enjoy a free entrée from a set menu at Olive Garden. Entrée choices include: cheese ravioli, spaghetti with meat sauce, lasagna, chicken parmigiana or garlic rosemary chicken served with unlimited soup or salad and breadsticks. Offer is valid with proof of service or veteran status. Plus, family members dining with military will enjoy 10% off of their meals.

California Pizza Kitchen – Veterans and active military receive a free pizza on Monday, Nov. 11.

Charlie Brown’s Steakhouse Eat Free
Veterans and active-duty military eat free on Monday, 11.11.13. Valid ID required or in uniform or photo in uniform.

Cheeseburger in Paradise
On Monday, November 11 get a complimentary All-American Burger with fries to active and retired military personnel. Dine in only and must purchase a beverage and present proof of service.

Chili’s – Veterans and active duty can get a free entrée all day from a special limited menu on Monday, Nov. 11.

Denny’s – Active, inactive and retired military personnel can get free all you can eat pancakes on Veterans Day nationwide.

Red Robin Free Burger and Fries
All Veterans and Active Duty Military get a free Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries on November, 11th

Shoney’s
Free All-American Burger to veterans and active duty servicemembers. Dine-in only, Proof of Service required. Shoney’s also offers a 15% everyday hometown heroes discount (military, fire, Police, EMT).

 

Golden Corral Free Meal
Monday November 11th from 4 PM to 9 PM get a free Veterans Day buffet and beverage to any veteran who has served in the United States military or is a current active duty service member. All Golden Corral locations will be participating. No identification is required to get your free Veterans day meal.

Hooters –Veterans and active duty military receive a free meal on Monday, Nov. 11.

Dollar General:
On Veterans Day, Dollar General will honor US Veterans, Active Military and their families for their service and sacrifices. All US Veterans, Active Military and their families can shop DG in-store or online and receive 11% off their purchases.

Great Clips Free Haircut
On Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, military members can come in and get a free haircut or to pick up a free haircut card to use any day before the end of the year, 12/31/2015. Customers who also come in for a haircut at any U.S. Great Clips salon will receive a free haircut card to give to an active/inactive/retired military member of any branch, including the National Guard.

Home Depot 10% Discount:
The 10% military discount is available everyday for active duty and retirees, but not all veterans. Home Depot on major military holidays, including Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and 4th of July the offer is extended to ALL veterans.

Publix:
All veterans, military personnel, and their families are invited to save 10% on groceries on Wednesday, November 11.

Sports Clips Free Haircut
Many Sport Clips locations will offer free haircuts to active-duty U.S. service members and veterans on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, 2015, with valid proof of service. For a list of participating stores, click here. Please contact your local Sport Clips for more information.

Verizon Wireless
As part of their commitment to support all who have served our country, this program offers discounted wireless service to all active military personnel as well as veterans. A great explanation of the program can be found here.

Free Admissions or Accommodations:

Army Corp of Engineers Recreation Areas
On Wednesday, November 11th, 2015, The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is waiving all day use fees at more than 2,400 recreation areas nationwide. This waiver is available to all veterans, active and reserve component service members, and their families. Only verbal confirmation of service is required..

National Parks Free Veterans Day Admission
Everybody gets free entrance to our National Parks on Veterans Day weekend.

US Forest Service Free Veterans Day Admission
The U.S. Forest Service is waiving fees at most of its day-use recreation sites over the Veterans Day holiday weekend. Go online to find a national forest or grassland near you.
