FREE Weekend Activities – July 30 to August 1, 2015

Yes, I realize the weekend is technically the 31st thru the 2nd.  BUT the free weekend events are happening Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week.  I couldn’t find anything for Sunday.  But there is a free event at Barnes & Noble on Thursday!

Get Pop- Cultured: Throwback Thursday 199os
Join us for a nostalgic journey and relive iconic moments in pop culture from the 1990s. Participate in a Goosebumps event for kids and explore the books, toys, games, music, movies, TV and fashion that shaped the decade! 

Friday, July 31, 7:00 pm
Get Pop-Cultured: Dr Seuss Spectacular
Join us on our final celebration of Get Pop-Cultured as we celebrate the beloved Dr. Seuss. There’s fun to be done! 

Saturday, August 1, 11:00 am
Join a free story time.  Different locations offer different stories. Check the website or call to confirm before you go.
 Check out the Barnes & Noble near you for more storytime hours!  Different stores do more story times on different days of the week! Don’t forget to fill out your Barnes & Noble summer reading log so you can pick up your FREE book while you’re there for storytime!

***Michael’s Kid’s Club Crafts cost $2 per child   Drop in for a 30 minute craft – ages 3 and up.

FREE Junior Chef class: Cooking with Tomatoes
Tomatoes are ripe and ready for eating and cooking this summer! Join us and learn to make some delicious dishes that are sure to impress your family. You’ll also learn some fun facts about tomatoes. Suitable for ages 8–13.
