FREE Weekend Activities – March 28, 2015

 

Soccer has started for us so we won’t be doing many free Saturday acvitities.  But if your Saturday’s are still free here are the things you can find to do this weekend, 3/28/15.  And if the weather is nice where you are, a park day & picnic are always wonderful FREE ideas!

Barnes and Noble: Saturday, March 28th,  at 11:00 am
Join a free story time. Different locations offer different stories. Check the website or call to confirm before you go.
Storytime book: Duck and Goose
Check out the Barnes & Noble near you for more storytime hours!  Different stores do more story times on different days of the week!  Yours might be doing Dr. Seuss storytime every Tuesday this month!  Join us each Tuesday at 11:00 am as we attempt to read as many Dr. Seuss books as we can this month – because they are that good! Come early and pick your favorite for us to read.

Home Depot:  no events this weekend

Lakeshore Learning: Saturday, March 28th,  from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm
Kid’s Craft: Changing Caterpillar
Some Lakeshore locations do their craft events on Sunday.   Find a location near you here.

Michael’s: Saturday, March 28th, from 10:00 am until Noon
Kid’s Craft: Pom Pom Baby Chick ***Michael’s Kid’s Club Crafts cost $2 per child
Drop in for a 30 minutes craft – ages 3 and up.

Pottery Barn Kids
Hop into Spring with Peter Rabbit – character appearance in select stores Every Saturday in March.
Peter Rabbit Story Time Tuesday March, 31st – 11am

Toy’s R Us: Saturday, March 28th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm
LEGO Ningao Event
The Lego Ninjango Big Bang Build Event is for kids ages 5 and up.  Build a Lego Ninjago mask to take home and participate in a scavenger hunt with prizes!

Don’t forget, it’s time to sign up for the Kids Bowl Free Summer Program!
