Bug has ALWAYS loved dressing up. It’s not just for little girls in their princess dresses! Boys like to dress up and pretend too. On any given day he could be a pirate, a firefighter, a train engineer, Batman, Captain America, Thor, a construction worker, a knight and now, thanks to Costume Discounters, ROBIN HOOD! (Or it’s Green Arrow, depending on his mood.) We have an entire tub under the bed where we store our costumes, easily accessible to Bug so he can “transform” whenever he feels like it. Dressing up and pretend play are important for kids!
The Robin Hood Costume from Costume Discounters is great! I got it a little big so he could wear it for a while. (It’s always a sad day when he grows out of a costume!) It says “Medium, fits 8-10”. I would recommend buying UP a size on this costume if you’re on the higher size end because Bug is about a 7 now and I don’t see him being able to wear this when he’s in a 9 or 10 clothes.

But other than the size it’s a great, durable costume. Since we wear costume for more than just Halloween, durability is important. He’s even worn this one in the backyard while doing some target practice (yes, we have our own archery set-up in the backyard – that’s what spurred the desire to have his own Robin Hood costume) – and I don’t normally let him outside with his costumes on but this one is durable enough.
