All aboard for Spills & Thrills with Thomas and his friends! The Island of Sodor is always bustling with activity, yet when the engines try to be “Really Useful” they often find themselves in some messy muddles!  James tries to prove he’s not afraid of the dark, or too vain to haul smelly fish, but when he pulls the night time Kipper Express he gets more than he bargained for! Stephen’s need for speed, and Salty’s need to impress, sends them both into some sticky, slippery situations.  Hiro shows Diesel that nice engines do finish first and Sir Topham Hatt shows you can’t cry over spilled milk…twice! It’s full steam ahead for Spills & Thrills on Sodor!

I was nervous about getting this Thomas DVD because Bug is 5 and I feel like he’s going to “grow out of” Thomas at any moment.  It’s been a fun four years and we have TONS of Thomas merchandise to show for it.  We got the King of the Railway movie last year and he loved it and he asked for the Trackmaster set that goes with it for Christmas and he has enjoyed playing with it.  So, hopefully, we still have a couple years of Thomas love left.

Back to Spills & Thrills, I let him open the package when he arrived and he wanted to watch it right away!  King of the Railway introduced some new characters and they make appearances in the episodes on Spills & Thrills.  He was happy to see the new characters again.   He laughed at the silly antics in these episodes.  And in usual Thomas & Friends fashion, this DVD doesn’t disappoint with it’s wholesome values.

    i want to win this for myself, because i am a huge thomas and friends fan and i love thomas and friends, because theyre awesome and colorful. and my favorite characters are henry, gordon, and the 18 diesels on sodor. i also love trains, as well.

    My son Loves Thomas, Percy and Owen! We watch, read, color, and play Sodor Island all the time. Infact he’s wearing a Thomas the train t-shirt right now!

    Thomas I think, or maybe Gordon? I guess I don’t pay much attention, but my son says “Mom! It’s your favorite show!” whenever it comes on!
