Ahoy, matey! Are you looking for the perfect pirate costume? I was! Bug needed a new pirate costume for the pirate deck party on our Disney cruise we took last month!
I found a great one at Halloween Adventure! (It came with really cool hair – as you can see in the bottom right picture – but I couldn’t get him to wear it! He wore his own hat.)
I loved the detailing on this one, the tattered pants and shirt tail, the belt (the perfect place to carry his sword!) and like I said, I loved the hair/headband. But I couldn’t get him to even wear it for just one picture. (Have you ever tried to get a 5 year old to put something on his head he didn’t want on?)
Hair or no hair, I still think it was the perfect costume. He loved it. He got lots of comments on it. And no one else on the cruise had the same one! (Better to take your own than buy one on the ship! For one, they’re outrageously expensive, and two, you’ll look like everyone else that didn’t bring their own!)
This would be a great costume for your little swashbuckler for Halloween, a pirate birthday party or just everyday play!
