Here’s a simple fall craft for the kids. First you need to find a pumpkin coloring sheet. Here are some free printable pumpkin coloring sheets to choose from.
- Pumpkin Coloring Sheet
- Crayons
- White cardstock or construction paper
- Green tempra or craft paint
- paintbrush
- scissors
- glue
After the kids color their sheets, take a sheet of white cardstock or construction paper and the green paint to make the handprint. Here’s a tip for painting perfect handprints. Don’t smash their hand in a glob of paint and press it on the paper. You’ll have a blobby mess. Use a paintbrush and brush a moderate layer of paint on the hands and fingers.
After the handprints have dried, cut them out and glue them to the top of the pumpkin for the leaf.
