Our (two) Week(s) on Pinterest 8/27

So here’s a recap of the last two weeks on Pinterest:

I started some a new board for Operation Christmas Child.  Check it out for tips and ideas for packing your shoeboxes!  I also started a board for Blogging Tips/Info so if you’re a blogger also, you might want to follow that one.

For the kiddos:  Over the last two weeks, we made a Space Shuttle (from a toilet paper roll and construction paper), used a box to make a tunnel for our cars (and masking tape to make a road) and we tried this paint-in-a-ziploc-bag for mess free fun but it wasn’t all that fun.  Bug got bored with it quickly.

BACK TO SCHOOL time is upon us!  We’ve gotten our teacher gift ready with these ideas and printables.  See more teacher gift ideas on the Gift Ideas board. And I made a refrigerator picture frame for Bug’s first day of (pre)school.

Pinterest, is a teacher’s favorite place.  If I listed every teaching/classroom idea I’ve pinned recently, I’d be here until next summer break.  So if you’re interested, just check out the Preschool/Homeschooling Board.

I pinned some more ideas for Bug’s Pirate Theme Birthday Party.   Lot’s of cake ideas mostly and some free pirate printables.

Oh, and let us not forget probably the biggest board I have, the RECIPES board!  I pinned ALOT of recipes and I’ve tried a few of them recently.  More on that later….

If you’re wishing for cooler weather – check out the Christmas board!

And this week’s funny:
