Thomas and Friends: Rescue on the Rails DVD review and giveaway!

Just in time for Chrstimas, Thomas and all his friends, new and old, are here in Rescue on the Rails!

I sat down with Bug earlier this week to watch this new DVD.  It’s not a full length film, but another collection of short episodes.   I was delighted to see all the new (and some of the revived) characters from Day of the Diesels  in this collection of episodes.  Bug loves Flynn the Fire Engine so he was delighted that he was in this one.  So was Belle and most of the new diesels from Day of the Diesels.

In the very first episode, Flynn learned the importance of waiting and listening after he dashes around Sodor hosing down trains that weren’t on fire because he didn’t wait to see which blue engine was on fire.  (If you watch a lot of Thomas, you know there are several blue engines!)

This DVD doesn’t disappoint with the important lessons and lots of fun that you expect from Thomas & Friends!

    We haven’t seen Day of the Diesels but my son’s fave is Thomas himself! He has a stuffed Thomas that he sleeps with at night!

    Our favorite character is Harold the Helicopter…..because that is Grandpa’s name! My kids are past the Thomas stage, but my niece is not. If I am the lucky winner, she gets this!

    My son is 5 and LOVES Thomas and all his friends. He has mild autism and this is one of his fixations. We have not seen Day of the Diesels but have quite a few of the other movies and older shows. My son’s favorite train is Hiro, from Hero of the Rails!
