My Food Giant trip last Monday wasn’t stellar, but it was admirable. I did the “Pick 5 Promo” and got the five items for $19.95 (the meat, sausage biscuits, two packs of sub sandwiches and 24pk of hot dogs were my 5 items).
I got some fresh produce, bread, tortillas, milk, koolaid mix and canned beans and canned salmon without coupons. But everything except the tortillas and milk were on sale. Oh, and I found batteries clearanced for 50c a pack!
All in all, I spent $52.95 (pre-tax). I only had $9.90 in coupons.
