There are a lot of abbreviations used when it comes to couponing and deals. Let me help you decode it all!
What does RR and ECB mean?
RR and ECB are store specific terms. You will see RR when talking about Walgreens. It means “Register Rewards”. Register Rewards are coupons that print at the register when you buy certain products. These deals will be in the weekly ad – for example – buy a gallon of milk and get $1 RR. This means when you buy a gallon of milk, a coupon will print at the register for you to use on your next purchase. (There’s a lot more to understanding Walgreens. ECB are at CVS and they are “Extra Care Bucks”. Extra Care Bucks are coupons that print at the end of your receipt when you purchase certain items. These deals will be in the weekly ad – for example – buy a gallon of milk and get $1 ECBs.
