I hate when I don’t get to do my drugstore shopping until Saturday. I want to come home and post a bargain brag but by the time I get around to it…the deals are over.
But this was just too good NOT to brag about! :)))
This was my CVS trip today:
4 Glade products at 2/$5 = $10
-$3.50 in coupons on Glade
3 packs Duracell Batteries $5.88 each = $17.64
-$4.50 in coupons on Duracell batteries
1 Coke 20oz = $1.59
-FREE with coupon from My Coke Rewards
4 boxes of Excedrin = $21.46
-2 FREE coupons and (2) $2.50 off coupons
Paid with $19.29 in ECBs
OOP = $8.63 (92% savings! $3.80 of the OOP was tax)
AND I got $13 ECBs back! ($10 from Excedrin and $3 from Glade!)
That’s a $4.37 PROFIT!
Here’s how it breaks down in the Savings Tracker (I love this thing!):
Shelf Cost: $66.48
Discounts (sale savings): $16.79
Coupons: $44.86
Subtotal: $4.83 (savings of 92%!)
Tax: $3.80
Cost to me: $8.63!!
I actually got to take one of my Excedrins tonight for a headache! :) And, I had a Coke earlier today. I bought some batteries from the Dollar Store the other day but I wonder if batts. from there are any good. We shall see. Keep it up!
