I really dislike shopping CVS and Walgreens on Saturdays because they’re already in the process of pulling down the previous sale tags and putting up the next weeks. So I have to walk around with my ads making sure I get the right products/sizes to get the sale/ECBs/RR because oftentimes the signs are no longer there.
With that said, I just didn’t make the effort to go this week and decided I’d just do it today.
Here’s what I got at CVS today:
- Wisk w/BOGO raincheck and (2) $3 coupons
- Coke (which was full when I bought it :] ) FREE with CVS coupon
- Alive vitamins with $1 coupon
I used $9.99 in previously earned ECBs.
I paid $1.90 (before tax) and earned $9.99 ECBs (from Alive vitamins)!
=Profit of $8.89!!
Here’s what I got at Walgreens:
- Aussie with $1 coupon
- Colgate with $1 coupon
- Impruv
- Tylenol cold ON CLEARANCE for $3.24!
Paid $12.21 (before tax) and earned $7 RR in all. Turned around and used the $7 RR on (3) 12pks of Mtn. Dews (not a great sale but we were out!)
Spent $4 (before tax) on the drinks.
