If you watched Extreme Home Makeover on ABC tonight, you saw a woman with a husband, 3 kids and cancer. I know full well the toll that cancer takes on the patient and the family, mentally, physically, emotionally and financially. My mom battled it for 26 months before the cancer took her in April of 2008.
At the end of tonight’s episode of Extreme Home Makeover it was announced that CVS/pharmacy had donated $100,000 to this family to help cover the mother’s medical bills.
That makes me proud to be a CVS customer. :)
