I know, I know, Black Friday bargain brag? I’m a little late! BUT I want to show you what I got and how many ECBs I got back because then, each week I’m going to show you how I rolled my ECBs into more ECBs and see just how far my Black Friday spending will get me!
My strategy for shopping at CVS on Black Friday was to get all the money makers I could (and there were several). Since we have to pay tax on pre-coupon price in my state, I only got FREE items if really wanted/needed/could find someone who wanted/needed it.
I ended up with:
- Benefiber pack
- Advil PM
- AA batteries
- Be Kool Fever patches
- Fiber One Brownies
- 2 Snickers Bars
- Pepto Bismol
- 4 nail polishes
- Cepacol cough drops
- 4 bags of chocolates
- Finish Quantum
- Excedrin
- Advil
- Carmex
- 2 toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Earbuds
- Kleenex
- Softlips
- 2 Jif Peanut Butter (rain check from previous sale)
- 2 boxes Theraflu
That’s 31 items for which I spent $11.54 on (before tax). I broke it up into 3 transactions and when I was finished, I still had $27.44 in ECBs left over! That’s almost a $16 profit!
