My Gobble Review
I signed up with Gobble for meal delivery kits last year. We are working my way through trying all the meal delivery services, at the request of my teenager who wanted to try some new recipes! We’ve tried Every Plate and cannot recommend them. We’ve been enjoying Hello Fresh for a couple months now and have recently tried Dinnerly, so I have a good frame of reference to compare Gobble too, even though they’re the one we’ve used the least.
Right off the bat, I can tell you that Gobble is the one I’ve had the LEAST issues with order accuracy and ingredient quality issues. Dinnerly would be second with barely any issues as well. And we’ve done more Dinnerly boxes than Gobble so I would say order for order, they’re both equal in terms of accuracy and quality.
Their variety of recipes was refreshing. We weren’t getting the same things we were seeing in other boxes. Hello Fresh tends to get hung up on sides – it’s almost always potatoes. Sometimes maybe carrots. Broccoli is always extra. I was elated to see Brussels sprouts as a side dish in Gobble. And actually really loved the way they were cooked!
See that full-mouth and that grin? HE WAS EATING BRUSSELS SPROUTS! Anything that can get him to eat Brussels sprouts and like them is a WIN in my book!
