Friday, October 4th, 2024, is (supposed to be) National TACO Day!Apparently, Taco Bell has decided that National Taco Day should always fall on TACO TUESDAY. And has moved National Taco Day to the first Tuesday in October. Which is October 1st this year.
Because, I guess, you can just move National Days around all willy-nilly.

So, as can be expected, everything is chaos this year. Which means we’re celebrating National Taco Day ALL WEEK LONG.
Some places have moved their Taco Day deals, others have stuck with the original October 4th. And some are having deals all week! So pay close attention to the dates on the deals!
Chuy’s
Add a Ground Beef Taco (Crispy or Soft!) to any entrée for just $1.
Del Taco
Oct. 1 will kick off a month of deals called Tacoberfest in the Del Yeah! Rewards app. Rewards members can get one free taco with any purchase on Oct. 1. The deal on Oct. 4 is a Beer Battered Crispy Fish Taco with $5 purchase.
El Pollo Loco
Rewards members can get three chicken tacos for $5 from Oct. 1 through Oct. 4
Rubio’s
Customers can get a Rubio’s Fish Taco for $2.50 on October 1st. Rewards members, check your app for deals on October 4th, like get a free taco with any purchase, and if you check in on the app you can become eligible to win a free taco a day for a year.
Taco Cabana
Taco Cabana is offering the below deals ALL DAY, no limit, and no coupon needed, on October 1st. The taco specials are available for dine-in, drive-thru, online at olo.tacocabana.com or through the MY TC! app. Offerings include:
- $1 Bean & Cheese Tacos
- $2 Ground Beef Tacos
- $2 Shredded Chicken Tacos
Taco Bell
There will be hourly drops of $1 tacos for rewards members on the Taco Bell app between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Oct. 1. There will be 10,000 redemptions per hour. Here’s the lineup:
- 10AM – Crunchy Taco (10,000 available for redemption)
- 11AM – Double Stacked Taco (10,000 available for redemption)
- 12PM – Chalupa Supreme (10,000 available for redemption)
- 1PM – Nacho Cheese Doritos® Locos Tacos (10,000 available for redemption)
- 2PM – Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco (10,000 available for redemption)
- 3PM – Cantina Chicken Soft Taco (10,000 available for redemption)
- 4PM – Soft Taco Supreme (10,000 available for redemption)
- 5PM – Cheesy Gordita Crunch (10,000 available for redemption)
- 6PM – Crunchy Taco Supreme (10,000 available for redemption)
- 7PM – Soft Taco (10,000 available for redemption)
