Teacher Appreciation Week is traditionally the first FULL week in May, Teacher Appreciation DAY is the Tuesday of that week. Tuesday, May 7, 2024. This usually coincides with National Nurses Day/Week so a lot of the freebies are valid for both teachers and nurses. Dollar General
Dollar General is giving teachers 5% off for the month of May. To get this discount through May 31, teachers need to sign in or create a Dollar General account and verify their teacher credentials. Then they’ll need to add the “exclusive teacher-only DG digital coupon” through the retailer’s app.
The coupon will appear 24 to 48 hours after verification and to redeem teachers can enter their phone number at checkout.
Staples
From May 5 through May 11, teachers can score a teacher supply kit with two Expo dry-erase markers, one Sharpie permanent marker, two Sharpie highlighters, two Paper Mate ballpoint pens, eight Paper Mate woodcase pencils, two Paper Mate erasers, one Elmer’s glue stick, and one Elmer’s liquid school glue. Note that there is a limited number of kits per store and the kits may not be available at all Staples locations.
