Postage Stamps increase to $.63 on January 22, 2023

Well, here we go again.  Stamps just went up in July and we’re already being told they’re going up again.

The USPS plans to increase prices of affected postage by 4.2% – making the cost of a Forever stamp go up 3 cents, from 60 cents to 63 cents. The price of Forever stamps just went up in July from 58 cents to 60 cents.

A year ago, a Forever stamp cost 55 cents.

So, as of January 22, 2023 a postage stamp will cost $.63.

This is now the SEVENTH time since 2012 I’ve had to write about a postage stamp increase.
