Well, here we go again. Stamps just went up in July and we’re already being told they’re going up again.The USPS plans to increase prices of affected postage by 4.2% – making the cost of a Forever stamp go up 3 cents, from 60 cents to 63 cents. The price of Forever stamps just went up in July from 58 cents to 60 cents.
A year ago, a Forever stamp cost 55 cents.
So, as of January 22, 2023 a postage stamp will cost $.63.
This is now the SEVENTH time since 2012 I’ve had to write about a postage stamp increase.
