CVS is making some changes to their ExtraCare Savings Program.
YES, the ONE store that has not change ANYTHING about their couponing/savings/rewards program in the TWELVE YEARS I’ve been a deal blogger, is making changes.
To celebrate the new program changes CVS will offer special freebies exclusively in the CVS App starting in late June and throughout the month of July. ExtraCare members will find a new free gift each week in the app, ranging from better-for-you snacks and treats to health and beauty essentials.
With all the Prime Day madness earlier this week, I failed to realize that the first freebie was THIS WEEK! And here it is Friday, and you have just two days left to grab it!

- Week 1 (6/20-6/26) – Beauty 360 Nail Clipper
- Week 2 (6/27-7/3) – Gold Emblem Bagged Candy
- Week 3 (7/4-7/10) – Beauty 360 All In One Nail Perfector or Cotton Rounds
- Week 4 (7/11-7/24) – Gold Emblem Abound Popcorn
- Week 5 (7/18-7/24) – Gold Emblem Abound Veggie Chips

New Birthday Reward
All ExtraCare members will now get a $3 reward during their birthday month. These will appear automatically in your account if you have shared your birthday information in your CVS account.
End of Quarterly Rewards
Currently you earn 2% back in ExtraCare Rewards that print at the end of each quarter. That’s going away.
Instead, starting the first week in July you will get automatic 2% rewards after every purchase that you can use right away or store up and spend them later. These rewards will expire 90 days after you earn them.
