National PI day is coming on 3/14/21! Get it? Pi is 3.14? So, a lot of places are having fun with the pi/pie similarity today and offering deals on both pie and pizza (you know, “pizza pie”).
The number π is a mathematical constant, the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, commonly approximated as 3.14159. It has been represented by the Greek letter “π” since the mid-18th century, though it is also sometimes spelled out as “pi“.
March 14th is also Albert Einstein’s Birthday. That’s an interesting fact to store away.
March 14th is also National Children’s Craft Day and I have a separate list of deals and ideas for that event here.

Pilot/Flying J: Pilot Flying J invites guests to enjoy $9.99 extra-large, handmade whole pizza pies to celebrate National Pi Day.
