Veteran’s Day 2020 Freebies and Discounts

Thank you, Veterans!  Here’s where you can go for discounts and freebies on Veteren’s Day, November 11, 2020.  I will update it when I find more!

As with anything, these deals are subject to participation.  All locations should be participating but you could run up on one that is not.  Calling ahead is recommended.

Restaurants:

Bruegger’s Bagels: A free medium hot or iced coffee with purchase to any active or retired military member with ID.

California Pizza Kitchen: All veterans and active military receive a free entrée from a select menu at participating restaurants. Must be in uniform or show military ID or any other proof of service.

Denny’s: Veterans and military personnel (active, non-active and retired) can enjoy a free Build Your Own Grand Slam at Denny’s on Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 5 am to noon. Dine in only with military ID at participating locations.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit: On November 11th, veterans visit their local participating Dickey’s in-store to receive a free Pulled Pork Classic Sandwich!

Golden Corral: This year Golden Corral will be celebrating its annual Military Appreciation dinner by giving out Thank You cards to any active or former military members. Thank You promotional meal cards can be picked up during the month of November and may be redeemed from November 1, 2020-May 31, 2021. The promotional cards may be redeemed Monday – Thursday at Lunch or Dinner and is good for one free meal per person. Any person who has served in the U.S. Military (retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard or Reserves) can pick up their card at a participating location.

Krispy Kreme: Veterans can get a free coffee and doughnut of choice at Krispy Kreme on November 11. There is no purchase necessary. Offer valid at participating locations.

Little Caesar’s: Little Caesars will be giving away FREE Lunch Combos to Veterans on November 11th from 11 AM to 2PM. You must mention the offer when ordering – valid ID required. The lunch combo includes a 4-slice Deep Dish Pizza and a 20oz Pepsi beverage. Limit one per family.

Logan’s Roadhouse:  all Veterans and active duty military personnel get a FREE American Roadhouse Meal on Wednesday, November 11th from 3PM-6PM.

Red Lobster: Veterans, active-duty military and reservists get a free appetizer or dessert with ID on November 11.

Starbucks:  Veterans, active duty service members and spouses can enjoy a free tall hot brewed coffee on Wednesday, November 11. Starbucks will also be donating $0.25 for every cup of hot brewed coffee sold nationwide on November 11. Limit one per customer at participating locations.

Wendy’s: Wendy’s will be giving away FREE Small Breakfast Combos to Veterans on November 11th during breakfast hours. You must mention the offer when ordering then. Go here for more information.

Retail:

Great Clips

On Veterans Day, November 11, military members can come in and get a free haircut or to pick up a free haircut card to use any day before the end of the year.. Customers who also come in for a haircut at any U.S. Great Clips salon will receive a free haircut card to give to an active/inactive/retired military member of any branch, including the National Guard.

Home Depot 

The 10% military discount is available everyday for active duty and retirees, but not all veterans. On major military holidays, including Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and 4th of July the offer is extended to ALL veterans.

Publix:

All veterans, military personnel, and their families are invited to save 10% on groceries on November 11.
