Is anything open on Christmas Day 2019?
I know a lot of people reminisce of the “good ol’ days” when everything closed for Christmas. But I’m thankful for the people who are willing to work because, God forbid, someone gets sick and you need to run to the drugstore for some medicine. Or you’re travelling and you need food (happened to us one Christmas night when I was a teenager – and I was most thankful for that bright yellow Waffle House sign! Yes we had Christmas dinner at Waffle House one year!)
So here’s a list of places that are open and places that are definitely closed. (Most service stations on major routes should be open should you need to gas up.) As a general rule, it would be best to call ahead to any restaurants as hours can vary between locations.
