The Saturday before Labor Day is International Bacon Day.  Not to be confused with the regular, not international, Bacon Day on December 30th every year.

I don’t make this stuff up people, I just report it.

But since someone, somewhere thinks this is a day to celebrate bacon, why not celebrate bacon?  I do love some bacon!




Here are two of my favorite bacon-using recipes (in case you don’t want to eat straight up bacon…but I must ask, why not?)
