So, to call 2019 The Year of Disney would not be a stretch. So many amazing things are coming out of Disney studios in 2019. I can’t wait! I will definitely be in theaters to see Aladdin but I’m probably MOST excited for The Lion King. The trailer for it is truly amazing. Being a 90s kid and experience that era of Disney movies I can tell you, Disney is pandering to that generation. It’s like they said, “Let’s take all the best animated movies of the 90s and before and MAKE THEM REAL” and my generation is eating it UP. We are taking our kids to see these remakes to feed our own nostalgia (my son ranks The Jungle Book and Pete’s Dragon live action remakes among his most favorite movies EVER.) And this is what Disney is counting on.
So without further ado, just exactly what can we look forward to in 2019?
March 8 – Captain Marvel
March 29 – Dumbo
May 3 – Avengers: Endgame
May 24 – Aladdin
June 21 – Toy Story 4
July 19 – The Lion King
November 27 – Frozen 2
