I haven’t done a bargain brag in a good while. And I’m doing a coupon demo at the library next week. So since I’ll be showing some of my hauls there, I thought I’d post them here too.
Of course when I post bargain brags like this, you get a peek into my shopping habits. The pitted dates might not be something you would’ve purchased – but I had a coupon and it added enough to my second transaction that I was able to use all my ECBs. See? Couponing works to help you save on everything! Even if it’s not a “sale” or “deal” item all over the blogs. When you know the method, you can apply it to anything.
So here’s what I did tonight at CVS:
First Transaction:
(2) Crest Pro-Health 3.5-4.6oz or Complete 5.8-6.2oz @ $3.00 each
(2) Colgate Optic White or Enamel Health @ $4.99 each
used (1) $1/1 Crest Toothpaste from 6/3 P&G (exp 6/16)
AND used (1) $1/1 Crest Toothpaste manufacturer coupon in CVS App
use (2) $1/1 Colgate Total, Optic White, Enamel Health or Sensitive Toothpaste from 6/3 SS (exp 6/16)
Paid $12.98 and got $8.00 ECB back
Redeemed $1.50 cash back from Ibotta when you buy Colgate Enamel Health toothpaste 6oz (x2) = $3.00 back
=$1.98
Transaction #2:
(1) Palmolive 10 oz @ $.99
(1) Softsoap Liquid Hand Soap 8-11.25 oz @ $1.99
(1) Always Infinity @ $5.99
(2) Always Ultra @ BOGO50% off – $4.29 & $2.14
(1) Gold Emblem pitted dates @ $2.89

used $3/$10 Feminine Care CVS App Coupon (this may be select users!)
used my $8.00 ECBs from first transaction

redeemed $.75 cash back on Always Ultra from Ibotta (x 2) and $.25 cash back on any item = $1.75 back
Total spent: $14.02
