We’re having a bit of a warm spell here and it’s a reminder that warm (and hot!) weather is just around the corner! Blackout curtains are a great way to reduce your cooling costs in the summer. They are a necessity in our house because the three biggest windows in the house (that just happen to be on two of the bedrooms and the living room) face west – and the hot, setting, summer sun.
I wanted to take a minute to tell you about Eclipse curtains. The panels are made exclusively for kids, incorporate tons of different prints/styles/lengths and colors and provide blackout and noise reducing capabilities. Aside from reducing cooling costs, blackout curtains in your kids’ rooms will likely induce better sleep! (Especially if you have a kiddo that likes to wake up as soon as the sun peeks through the window.
