When Walgreens first started Balance Rewards Points, they gave users THREE years to keep their points without expiring. Well, that was too good of a thing to last! Starting FRIDAY, August 25th, points will expire after 12 month for active members. So if you have any expiring points be sure to use them NOW.

If you have points that will expire because of this upcoming change, you should get a print out at checkout letting you know. However, you may want to check your Walgreens Balance Rewards account on-line to be sure or call them if you have any questions.
