National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day – August 4, 2017

This is another day I can fully support!  August 4th is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day!    I was really disappointed in the number of deals I found for today…BUT it’s easy enough to whip up a delicious batch of chocolate chip cookies at home…SO I guess we will be staying in and making our own cookies!

Here’s what I did find for National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day:

Chick-fil-A

I would run to the Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account of your local Chick-fil-A and see if they have posted anything about National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day.  I have seen a sprinkling of deals from various ones.  Just know that this is going to be HIGHLY regional!  There are literally thousands of Chick-fil-a locations and my searching came up with less than a dozen that have already posted about it.

Cookies By Design

If you have one of these shops near you, stop in for a FREE cookie.

Doubletree Hotel

This hotel chain is famous for offering guests a free chocolate chip cookie at bedtime (which is something I’ve only just learned – did you know that?).  But on National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, they’re offering them to everyone. Just walk into any DoubleTree in the U.S. and you can grab a free cookie—with or without a reservation

 

 

Great American Cookie Company

I’ve been waiting all day for an announcement from them.  It seems like they’d be the first to jump on this day!  I’ll update if I hear anything.
