Mixbook Customizable Photo Book Review!

My Photobook from Mixbook is STILL one of my most favorite photobooks!

It’s a theme called “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” and I knew EXACTLY what I was going to make a book of! Our Day Out With Thomas from 2011.

They aren’t kidding when they say their books are 100% customizable! Every graphic on the page is moveable, replaceable and deletable! I chose to start with the template above but loved the ability to change and move things to my liking.

This is a page I did from scratch. Even the train graphic was in individual pieces – I could’ve done just the engine or I could’ve done more cars. I could’ve made it bigger or smaller. You just don’t have that kind of control on other photo book sites!

Here is one of my favorite pages done from the template. The quote was already there and I liked it so I left it. There were quotes on some of the other pages but since it’s fully customizable, I took those off! I added some captions on a few pages too. To show you even more how customizable these are on the page below I could’ve taken away the train tracks in the background individually. I could’ve taken the train and hills off the bottom or the filmstrip off the top.

I absolutely LOVED making this photo book and I am thrilled with how it turned out.

It’s an 8.5×11 landscape, hardcover bound book. Excellent color and excellent quality! These start at $23.99 for 20 pages.

Bug has always enjoyed the Thomas book that HE is the star in! He still likes to take it off the shelf and look at it and “remember” this day (that I know he probably doesn’t really remember because he was TWO – but because of this photo book, he’ll never “forget” it!
